From her musical film scores (A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Tron) to her synthesizer renditions of classical music, to becoming one of the first openly trans musicians, Wendy Carlos was a pioneer in many ways. She introduced the world to the synthesizer at a time when it was brand new.
